The Altimeter series of both mitts and gloves by Stone Glacier is like a journeyman's version of a ski or snowboarding glove seen on any reputable ski slope. The outer-shell has proven extremely waterproof and abrasion resistant, and having the ability to remove the insulation liners from within has proven incredibly handy on several adventures of ours. If you're looking for a cold-weather mitt or glove, these are a very solid option and we've found that most prefer the added dexterity that comes with the glove variant.
