The Crispi Lapponia III is an extremely popular, western hunting boot. This latest variant of the Lapponia series from Crispi brings with it an ultralight, dual-density EVA midsole (Flex 2) placed above a more aggressive tread pattern that is the Crispi MegaGrip outsole (a wise upgrade for mountain hunting in our opinion). Also new with the Crispi Lapponia III is its compatibility with their Strapless Gaiter System. The Crispi Lapponia III is by far one of our most proven team favorites. It excels in most western hunting applications and can easily be described as one of the most flexible and lightweight 8-inch tall boots available.
When compared to the Crispi Altitude, the Crispi Lapponia III is more lightweight and flexible; however, it is lesser technical fitting through the full length of the boot itself. So, expect that a standard width variant of the Lapponia III (D) to fit ever so slightly more forgiving in comparison toe a standard width variant of the Altitude (D). Additionally, it is our opinion that the Crispi Lapponia III is marginally more waterproof because of its pairing of materials while also being slightly less breathable because of it, when compared to the Crispi Altitude.
